Cookie Policy

Management and Operation of Cookies.

What is a cookie and what is it for?

A cookie is a small text string, typically saved in a file, that a website sends to the browser and saves on your computer when you visit websites.

Cookies are used to make websites work more efficiently, to improve performance, and also to provide information to the owners of the site. The cookies used on the Site are both persistent (i.e., they remain stored, until their expiration, on the hard disk of the user/visitor’s personal computer) and session (i.e., they are not stored persistently on the user/visitor’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed).

What kind of cookies does this site use and for what purpose?

Our site uses different types of cookies, each with a specific function. Below we specify the types used:

TYPE: Navigation Cookies

OPERATION: These cookies allow the site to function properly and are used to collect information about how visitors use the site. This information is used to compile reports and help us improve the site. Cookies collect information anonymously, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors came from, and the pages they visited.

TYPE: Analytical Cookies

OPERATION: These cookies are used, for example, by Google Analytics to process statistical analyses on the ways users navigate the site through computers or mobile applications, the number of pages visited, or the number of clicks made on a page while browsing a site. For a comprehensive overview of Google’s privacy policies, you can visit the following link:

TYPE: Third-party Cookies

OPERATION: These cookies are used by third-party companies. The use of these cookies normally does not involve the processing of personal data. Third-party cookies derive from advertisements on other sites, such as advertising messages, present on the viewed website. They can be used to record website usage for marketing purposes, collect information about website usage, and keywords used to reach the site. Cookies collect information anonymously. Cookies of this type are sent by the Site itself or by third-party domains. To remove some third-party cookies, you can use the following tool:, which currently works only for advertising profiling cookies (perhaps in the future, it will also be extended to Analytics) and only detects cookies from adherents to For this reason, this tool is not conclusive for removing all third-party cookies.

TYPE: Persistent Cookies

OPERATION: These persistent cookies are used solely to facilitate navigation within the Site and its proper use, to facilitate access to services that require authentication (avoiding users having to re-enter authentication credentials each time they access services), as well as for statistical purposes, to know which areas of the Site have been visited. Session cookies are used solely to transmit session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site.

TYPE: Session Cookies

OPERATION: Session cookies used on the Site avoid the use of other potentially harmful computer techniques for the confidentiality of user/visitor browsing and are also used to improve the provision of services.

TYPE: Cookies for Integrating Third-Party Functionality

Cookies of this type are used to integrate third-party functionalities into the Site (e.g., comment modules or social network icons that allow visitors to share the site’s content). Cookies in this category can be sent from partner sites or sites that offer the functionalities present on the site. The Owner is not required to request user consent for technical cookies, as these are strictly necessary for the provision of the service. For other types of cookies, consent can be expressed by the User, in accordance with current regulations, through specific browser configurations and computer programs or devices that are easy and clear to use for the User. The Owner reminds the User that preferences regarding cookies can be changed at any time. It is also possible to disable cookies from the browser at any time, but this operation may prevent the User from using some parts of the Site.

Third-Party Websites

The site may contain links to other websites that have their own privacy policies. These privacy policies may differ from those adopted by the Owner, who therefore does not respond for third-party sites.

Pursuant to art. 122, paragraph 2, of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, consent to the use of such cookies is expressed by the data subject through the individual settings that he or she has freely chosen for the browser used to navigate the site, without prejudice to the user’s ability to communicate at any time to the Data Controller his or her will regarding data managed through cookies that the browser itself has accepted.

How can I disable cookies?

Most browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) are set to accept cookies. However, most of them allow you to control and even disable cookies through settings available in them.

However, disabling navigation cookies or functional cookies can cause the site to malfunction and/or limit the service offered.

To change the settings, follow the procedure indicated by the various browsers, which are usually found under «Options» or «Preferences.»
